Under the supervision of the Chief Monk of the Subodharama Temple in Peradeniya (Most Ven. Watthegama Dhammawasa Thero) the first Higher Ordination Ceremony of 21 Monks from the Nihada Arana Meditation Center was held along with another 26 other Monks who received the Higher Ordination under the “Udarata Amarapura – Sasana Jothika” Clan. This was held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July 2022 at the “Seema Malakaya”.
